World Relief Assimilation Project

World Relief Assimilation Project: Step into the shoes of a refugee for 24 hours and gather a new outlook on life.  The purpose of this mission project is to gain a greater respect for the blessings that God has given each of us, and to be more culturally sensitive to refugee's and their families throughout our neighborhoods, communities and work place. The sin of ingratitude kept the children of Israel from entering the Promised Land.  Murmuring and complaining spread like cancer throughout the camp.  As a result of this, God judged the 1st generation under the command of Moses.  Numbers 14:35 says, "I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me.  They will meet their end in this desert; here they will die."  How quickly we can forget the blessing and provision that God supplies.  Seemingly, in our nation today, people have everything but are not easily satisfied.  This type of attitude will restrain the blessings of God.  Ingratitude is crippling.  God is exceedingly gracious and loving.  It behooves us to serve God with thanksgiving and faithfulness!  It is important to remember that even in our lack we are blessed because of Him.
